A CSV or Excel file, a four-step wizard, and a way back if needed.
You are changing tools, not colleagues. Rather than retyping three hundred accounts and the term's schedule, import them. Two wizards with the same shape: one for users, one for bookings, each with column mapping and a preview before confirming.
CSV or XLSX, one header row, one row per user or per booking. For users, email is the only required column; 500 rows at most per file. For bookings, you need at least the spot, the start and the end.
Drop the file, map each column to a SpotBooker field (last name, first name, group, custom fields…), check the preview and confirm. Created accounts are pending: send them the invitations in one click when you are ready.
Same wizard, with one more step: map each spot from your old tool to a SpotBooker spot. Pick the source format if your file comes from a known software. The import then shows up in the list, with the number of bookings created and any errors.
A booking import can be rolled back: every booking it created is deleted at once. Useful after a wrong column mapping, as long as nobody has started editing those bookings.
